building tables

work tables are more important to us than a dining table or a TV. and i knew I wanted to build our own instead of getting more things from Ikea.  Research lead us to The Reclaimer and we got lots of 2×12 reclaimed douglas fir wood. Sanding down each board was a lot of work. We went with the black pipes for the legs and cleaning those were a lot of work too.  Having an attached garage for the first time is so awesome and was put to good use right away as we set up work horses and coated the table with linseed oil. We made two 6 ft tables and one 4 ft table.
